On Tuesday (August 4), David Scott Portnoy, who is an American internet celebrity, blogger, as well as the founder and president of Barstools Sports, invited the Winklevoss twins to show him how to buy Bitcoin, and they have accepted his invitation.
In a video he published on Twitter a short time ago, Portnoy admitted that although he had some time ago bought Bitcoin, he had since then lost access to his wallet.
He also said that he does not understand Bitcoin, and wants the Winklevoss twins, who are the founders of the Gemini digital asset exchange, to come to his office and explain it to him.
Here is an excerpt from the transcript of this video:
“I don’t know how to buy Bitcoin, alright. I don’t know how to buy it.
“I don’t want to get one of those wallet things where you need like a passcode that has like oh you need martian language in hieroglyphs and your cousin’s aunt’s maiden name has to be like spelled backwards and you gotta hide the thing under your cushion and if you lose it or someone’s takes i, it’s just gone. I don’t know that part of it…
“I bought bitcoin in that original Bitcoin age. I don’t know where it is. I don’t know how to access it. I don’t know where it went.
“I spent 20 grand. It’s just sitting in in the the ether… so that’s why I don’t do Bitcoin because I don’t want to f***ing understand it.
“If you could tell me I could put in ‘BITCOIN’ as symbols on the stock exchange, but I don’t understand the wallet and the coin. I don’t get it…
“Someone cut this out and send this to the Winklevosses… the best cast characters in a history movie — ‘the social network’… those two guys… those rowing robots… I honestly kind of like…
“So anyways, I was going back and forth and they are like ‘hey, we’ll come explain Bitcoin’… like, alright, that sounds good because they’re like Bitcoin zillionaires.
“They just want a free ad for their company… like ‘we’ll do a pizza review, we’ll talk about it’… like what are you talking about? You’ll come in and teach me how to do Bitcoin so I can get rich…
“If the Winklevosses want to come over and tell me how to do this in a way that I understand, I will look into Bitcoin…”
Roughly 5 minutes later, both Tyler and Cameron accepted Portnoy’s invitation via Twitter.
A few minutes later, Portnoy tweeted that he wanted to buy “all the bitcoins”:

Portnoy’s interest in learning about Bitcoin and wanting to seriously invest in it should greatly help to increase the adoption of Bitcoin by his over 1.7 million Twitter followers, many of whom are U.S. millennials.
